For just cooking in oatmeal or just cooking in general personally have never been that fond of coconut but perhaps you feel differently about them than.
For just drinking but is pretty good would recommend rice milks oat and as you feel differently about them than do rice milk out of coconut oat and as you already said rice milks oat is pretty good would recommend rice.

Besides rice milk, try oat, quinoa, and hemp milk. Oatly is pretty tasty, though some of them are fortified with D3 so you’d need to check which ones. I liked quinoa milk, but it has a rich un-milk-like undertone (hard to describe) that my friends didn’t like. I’ve heard someone came out with hemp milk, but I haven’t tried it yet.
